With under a month to go until I move out to Kenya, we are making sure everything is going to be ready for when I arrive.
This week a container will be shipped out with lots of items that are needed in Africa, including a land rover for me to use while I am out there. People have been really kind since we knew we had the space to ship things and we have had lots of donations to be sent out for the children and young people involved with our projects.
Some of the things we are sending out this week include: football strips, gift bags with presents for the children and computers.
Bickley Primary School are donating 20 of their old computers to be used by the schools Mission Care International is working with in Kenya, in Naivasha and Mombasa. On Friday last week I went to Bickley Primary to help arrange getting the computers packed up and ready to go. It was great to meet some of you who are supporting us! I look forward to posting pictures of the computers in their new homes early next year...
